Job Description: The incumbent provides clinical assistance to Anesthetists, as well as calibrating, troubleshooting and performing repairs on
Anesthetic equipment, as required, at all acute care facilities. Individuals in this position have a blended reporting relationship,
reporting administratively to the Manager, CardioRespiratory services (i.e. Payroll, Professional Issues), financially to the Manager of
Nursing  Operating Room (i.e. direct purchase authorization, inventory additions/deletions) and receives clinical direction from the
Department of Anesthesia.
Anesthesia Diploma from an accredited educational institution

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (S.C.R.T) or with the
Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)

Hours of Work: In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
