Description

An employee-owned, Canadian company, Associated Engineering provides a broad base of consulting engineering services.

We are currently searching for a Project Supervisor for our Saskatchewan Operation. You will be joining either the Regina or Saskatoon team with a focus on delivering preferred service to a variety of public and private sector clients.

The successful candidate will supervise, provide onsite inspection, and oversee technicians completing quality assurance/control to ensure the engineering design is properly constructed. You will also ensure that the Company is professionally represented on site. This position will require extensive travel and long periods away from the office on construction projects.

Tasks will include:

- Construction oversight services to monitor contractors progress, workmanship and general conformance with the contract documents;
- Supervise field construction staff on projects;
- Roadway design, development  and completion of tender documents for clients;
- Acting as an ambassador of the Company and communicating regularly with the contractor, project managers, owners, and other stakeholders throughout the evolution of a project; and
- Preparing clear and concise project reports, daily reports, and other project support documentation.

Qualifications:

- College diploma in construction, civil engineering, water/environmental technology, or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a construction role.
- Experience in the undertaking of field survey, developing specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and inspections, including materials inspection.
- Experience in project management, managing and meeting client expectations.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Committed team leader and player.
