Description

We are currently seeking a Crop Inputs Manager to manage the development and operation of a profitable crop inputs business. This position will work closely with Customer Service Representatives and the facility staff to ensure that business is running efficiently and will provide direction to sales and operational staff in the implementation of annual and seasonal plans.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Growing the volume of the crop inputs business with existing customers and proactively seeking out new business opportunities
Promoting P&Hs service programs
Monitoring market developments and updates to determine competitive price offerings
Developing annual plans & budgets
Coaching & mentoring customer service representatives
Management and application of credit and collection programs

Qualifications:
5-7 years in a role managing or related to the sales of crop inputs
Diploma or Degree in business, agriculture or related
Certified Crop Advisor, P. Ag., or related designation would be an asset
Excellent customer service
Previous experience in a supervisory role
Thorough knowledge of the crop input and grain business
Working knowledge of profit and loss statements
Ability to network and build relationships
Ability to research and acquire information
