Description

The Programmer shall be primarily responsible for coordinating programs and activities for the Coronation Park Community Association (CPCA) under the direction of the CPCA Inc. Executive.
    Attend Executive meetings and give written /verbal reports to the Executive on activities/meetings that have taken place in the period since the last Executive meeting.
    Identify and promote programs that attract community residents.
    Lead some key programs.
    Recruit volunteers for CPCA Inc. events.
    Attend North Zone Board meetings, City of Regina meeting and workshops related to Community Associations if directed to by the CPCA Inc Executive and then reporting back to the CPCA Executive.
    Prepare and organize Registration nights, attend Registration nights, and give information to individual programmers.
    Organize and implement CPCA craft sale and Fun Day.
    Complete and/or assist with any grant/funding applications with the City of Regina.
    Work with schools and other community organizations to find partnerships that will benefit the residents of the CPCA and possible sponsorships, etc.
    Act as writer/editor of CPCA Inc. Newsletter and City Guide.
    Answer/return e-mails/phone calls in a timely manner.
    Update and maintain the CPCA Inc. website and Facebook page.
    Have good communication skills, efficient office procedures and is punctual.
    Able to work with different cultures and traditions

Hourly wage $20/hr to a maximum of 720 hours a year working 10-15 hours per week depending on the program needs which often includes evenings and some weekend work.
Work from home and program sites.
Supply own computer and printer (related costs to ink and paper reimbursed.)
Cell phone provided by the CPCA Inc.
A Criminal Records check is required.
2-3 references required.
This is to finish out a contract until the end of June.  The board is assessing the role of CPCA and there will opportunity for continued employment.
