Summer Student Contract
The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association Inc. (SPRA) is a dynamic, non-profit organization. We are the leader for a parks and recreation network that builds healthy active communities in Saskatchewan and we provide leadership and support to enhance the quality of the parks and recreation network.
This contract provides assistance to meeting the strategic direction for the Parks and Open Spaces portfolio. The successful candidate will provide assistance in the delivery and management of initiatives specific to the Parks and Open Spaces portfolio, which the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) administers. This includes, but is not limited to, the following programs:
- Communities in Bloom
- June is Recreation & Parks Month
- Program Support Services
Post-secondary education or experience in the fields of:
Recreation, Tourism, Horticulture, Environmental Sciences, Biology or equivalent - with working knowledge of the recreation/parks delivery system. Experience in program development and/or administration is an asset.
