Working safely with other crew members in a field or industrial environment, assisting a CGSB Level II Supervisor to perform non-destructive examination (NDE) tasks in clients worksites.
Ensemble, disassemble and operate industrial radiography exposure devices, radiation safety equipment and other NDE equipment through manual labour.
Lifting and carrying heavy equipment ( 52 lb), working in excavation and trenches, scaffolds or elevated platforms, tanks, vessels and other confined spaces, as well as along oil and gas pipelines.
Play a critical role not only ensuring your own safety, but also the safety of others.
Ultimate goal is to acquire training and skills to become first a Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) and later a CGSB-Certified Level 2 in one or more NDE techniques.
