The "Network Analyst" requires strong analytical and problem solving skills in a creative environment. This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of new network
structure ideas along with maintaining and enhancing the form, functionality, and user experience of our current network and services.
Qualifications
- Computer science degree of a four (4) year or a combination of relevant education, training and/or experience.
- One or more of the following certifications:
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Other similar certifications
- 4+ years of experience in the areas specified above or a related technical field.
- Proficient working with Cisco switch/router/firewall.
- Proficient in network routing, switching and network topologies.
- Proficient in logical and physical network segmentation, management and monitoring.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft DNS (active directory).
- Strong knowledge and experience in current operating systems (e.g. CentOS, Fedora and Windows Pro/Server).
- Knowledge of best practices of network security.
- Experienced in database administration would be an asset.
- Experienced in documenting network structure, servers and processes.
- Computer gaming experience would be an asset.
- Comfortable working within a primarily open source environment.
