Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor for our new Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility. Responsibilities include:
    Update and review schedule. Organize manpower and work cooperatively with departments to achieve schedule
    Host Toolbox meetings
    Report any concerns to the area manager
    Ensure daily maintenance is done on equipment
    Work with ROF for any unplanned work that needs to be addressed
    Replace broken tooling, inquire about new tooling and cost benefits
    Ensure people are meeting or beating the expected times for their jobs
    Ensure that your team is maintaining a well-organized workplace following the Brandt 5S Standards
    Work alongside and closely with customers when needed
    Take/assign ownership of rush machine shop work
    Assist in quoting, as requested
    Ensure down equipment is repaired and running as soon as possible; keeping management informed
    Make sure night shift has everything they require and understand what is expected to be done for the morning
    Help team leaders with problems that arise during the day
    Ensure all work related documentation is getting filled out by the machine operators
    Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
    Must be able to work independently
    Fluent in English
    Motivated to learn and improve
    Positive attitude with an attitude for problem solving.
