Here at the Travelodge Hotel & Conference Centre Regina, were looking for a new Hotel Hero whos outgoing, customer service oriented and ready to exceed our guests expectations.
Our Hotel Hero is also known as our Bell Person. Unlike many positions within the hotel the Bell Person doesnt just work in a single department, theyre the go to person for all areas of the hotel. A few ideas of the things our Bell Person is responsible for include:
Assisting guests with transporting their luggage, Keeping our entrances safe, clean and welcoming by ensuring garbage is picked up, mats are straight, and shovelling, sweeping or salting and sanding are completed as needed
Delivering packages to departments and guests within the hotel, Running errands both within and outside the hotel such as picking up small items or taking out the mail, onducting some light cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming and cleaning windows
Taking room service orders, delivering them when ready and picking up empty trays
The position were hiring for at this time is responsible for working evenings and weekends. This entry-level position offers a great introduction to the hospitality industry and is a perfect fit for someone who enjoys interacting with people and loves to keep busy. It offers an hourly wage above minimum wage and includes the potential for tips.
