Summer Student JobLoraas Disposal Services Ltd. is looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a Seasonal Labourer at our Loraas Landfill site near Martensville. If you are looking for a company to grow with this job may be for you! The successful candidate for this position will work Mondays to Fridays, 8:00am to 4:30pm from April 1 until October 31.
Duties:
- A variety of labour and light equipment operation duties, including grounds maintenance (mowing with various equipment, cleaning up wind-blown litter, manually or with self-propelled fan-collection unit, etc.) and cleaning of equipment with high-pressure wash.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be in good physical condition
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Ability to work in a team environment
Experience operating equipment is considered an asset
Minimum valid Class 5 drivers license with
clear abstract required.
This position is safety sensitive and, as a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date. A criminal record check will also be required.
