Description

CNH Industrial is currently recruiting for a Planner & Project Leader. This position is responsible for planning of workflow from Request through Completion within Tooling Department. This position is also responsible to lead continuous improvement activities within the Department following standardized methodology to meet established KPI and KAIs within established timelines.

Responsibilities
To use the defined method of all required data collection for the area so that information can be compiled and used by the company.
Identify existing and new processes that are not documented and assist in the development of standard work documents to support them.
Initiate projects within Tooling Department with a focus on improving Safety, Quality and Productivity/Efficiency.
Develop and implement projects through to completion
Work with Department Manager and Supervisor to create project timelines, teams and knowledge requirements.
Educate others on the tools and methods being used, and showcase the project as an example to others that may view it.
Help develop training plans to close all knowledge and technical skill gaps for the team.
Manage and facilitate execution of projects.
Provide training to project team for knowledge that employee is qualified to train on.
Provide weekly progress updates on timelines, KPI/KAI, improvements activities, projects risks and current

Qualifications
Highly proficient in Microsoft Applications
Have good leadership skills in order to effectively lead a group.
Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes including Toolmaking.
Strong organizational skills, extremely self-motivated
Good communication skills
Previous experience developing or managing databases would be considered and asset.
Previous project management experience and prior Lean Manufacturing knowledge would be considered and asset.
Business, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Degree would be an asset.
