"Assistant Chief Pilot "

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Chief Pilot is responsible for the professional standards of the flight crews under his/her authority, and in particular:

    Developing and continuously improving standard operating procedures;
    Developing and/or implementing all required approved training programs for the air operator flight crews;
    Issuing directives and notices to the flight crews as required;
    The operational suitability and requirements of all aerodromes and routes served by the air operator;
    The actioning and distribution of accident, incident, and other occurrence reports (SMS investigation and completion);
    The processing and actioning of any flight crew reports;
    The supervision of flight crews when needed;
    Assuming any responsibilities delegated by the Chief Pilots; in the absence of the chief pilot, responsibilities for duties shall be delegated to the individual for a temporary period as required by the Director of Flight Operations;
            

           Qualifications:

    Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (aeroplanes), a valid Instrument Rating appropriate for the group of aeroplane and a type rating for at least one of the types of aeroplanes operated.
    Be captain qualified for line flying on one of the types of aeroplanes operated

    3000 hours total flight time.
    1000 hours PIC Multi Engine.
    500 hours Turbine
