Under the direction of the General Manager and based in the Saskatoon office, the individual in this position supports the business development initiatives/efforts of First Nations Insurance Services Limited Partnership (FNIS) including retention of existing business, expansion of clientele, update and expansion of product offerings and expansion of business opportunities in the insurance industry.
Qualifications:
Valid Life and Accident & Sickness licensing in the province of Saskatchewan; Other provincial licenses in which FNIS does business (is a definite asset);
A good understanding of FNIS group insurance and pension plans;
A minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education;
A minimum of 10 years experience in the insurance industry;
Expert insurance industry knowledge and education;
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive business relationships;
A high degree of professionalism and integrity in dealing with confidential matters;
Strong ethics;
Ability to solve problems and sound judgement;
Proficient in computers, office equipment and applications required to perform duties of the position;
Superior organizational and time management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
A valid Class 5 Drivers License;
Ability to travel extensively across the geographic area of FNIS customer base.
