Description

We are in search of a CNC Vertical Mill Operator who works efficiently, has a safety conscious attitude, and wants to be a key team member!

The CNC Vertical Mill Operator operates a Computer Numerically Controlled milling machine that mills raw material into accurate component parts to use in production. Sets up, machines and processes metal parts through the use of a CNC Vertical Mill and other systems in the machine shop. CNC Machinist is responsible for manufacturing quality parts produced on CNC machines according with supplied drawings. Responsibilities will include loading parts, writing the programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance and requirements. The CNC Machinist must detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine as required to insure quality of production. This position requires knowledge and experience with using a forklift and overhead crane. Must work under the direction of a supervisor and/or experienced machinist and is fully responsible for quality parts produced. Some mechanical knowledge and experience is beneficial for success in the role.  

Qualifications:
    Must have minimum of 5 years precision CNC milling
    Ability to set-up complex machining operations up to 4th-Axis
    Must be able to read, write and edit G Code
    Excellent blue print reading skills
    Experience with all manual inspection equipment
    Experience machining aluminum, steel, stainless and plastic materials
    Experience with Fanuc controls
    Ability to work with a team and independently
    Good dexterity with a sense of urgency
    Great attention to detail
    Willingness and ability to learn
