Description

Our client is seeking qualified candidates to work in the Saskatoon Distribution Engineering group to provide engineering support related to distribution system projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties may include, but are not limited to;
- The creation/updating of hydraulic models
- Distribution system capacity checks
- Regulator/Meter station equipment sizing calculations
- On-site inspections
- Completion of customer connect and system improvement projects, which includes: hydraulic analysis of mechanical piping designs in compliance with company standards, cost estimating, obtaining of approvals and project management

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science in either Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited Canadian university. A valid Class 5 Drivers license is also a requirement.

If English is an additional language one of the following English Language competency scores must also be clearly stated on your resume:

a) TOEFL  Test of English as a Foreign Language. TOEFL ibt  Score of 110 or higher TOEFL ITP  Not Accepted TOEFL Junior  Not Accepted TOEFL Primary Test  Not Accepted
b) CELPIP  Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program CELPIP General  Score of 9 or higher (for each component) CELPIP General LS  Not Acceptedc) IELTS - International English Language Test System IELTS Academic  Score of 8 or higher IELTS General  Not Accepted
d) TOEIC  Test of English for International Communication:
The minimum acceptable test score for TOEIC L&R is 900 The minimum acceptable test score for TOEIC S&W is 360
