Description

Certified Mining & Construction Sales & Rentals is looking for a Mechanic's Helper.
The Mechanics Helpers primary responsibilities include helping the Mechanic with installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. The Mechanics Helper is also responsible for assisting the Mechanic in repairing and recertifying malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.  Quality work and timely completion of all aspects of the recertification job are required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The Mechanics Helper  must possess/demonstrate the following skill set:
1.    Mechanically inclined
2.    Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
3.    Attention to detail  
4.    Ability to follow instructions
5.    Ability to use judgment and apply discretion when making decisions
6.    Ability to work alone and in a team environment
7.    Strong time-management skills
8.    Ability to detect, isolate and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
9.    Thorough knowledge of load bearing capabilities of the equipment to be installed, assembled, or dismembered.
10.    Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
