Description

Pinehouse Business North (PBN) is a northern Saskatchewan Aboriginal owned company. PBN is hiring a permanent full-time Human Resources Manager.  This position will be Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm based in our Saskatoon office, however, travel to the community and/or site may be required.  

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, and administering all human resource initiatives to develop and support the growth of both employees and the organization.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to all functional areas of human resources; recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, employment law, organizational development, etc.  Developing and implementing policies and procedures to support: full life cycle talent acquisition & retention, employee relations, job analysis, training and development, total compensation, records management, performance management, organizational development, change management.

The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum 5 years experience applying human resource management practices and principles. Minimum 3 years experience with WCB, Duty to Accommodate, and human rights. A post secondary education in Human Resources as well as a CHRP Designation or working towards the designation is strongly preferred, however a combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience working in a blue-collar environment is an advantage with a strong commitment to capacity building and knowledge transfer to PBN employees. Communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiating, time and priority management skills are necessary for success in this position.
