Do you know procurement practices, Priority Saskatchewan, and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement like the back of your hand?  Are you the one senior leadership wants to see when they need advice on how to issue an RFP or award a contract?  Apply to join our team as a permanent, full-time Purchasing Consultant in Regina.  The Purchasing Consultant contributes to the effective & efficient operation of the Purchasing Department, ensuring that SGI receives best value for the goods and services it purchases. We will challenge you to provide expert guidance to our business areas on purchasing practices and procedures, helping them to develop innovative acquisition strategies.

Requirements
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity  after all, were counting on you.  We are looking for candidates who have a bachelors degree in business administration/commerce, as well as a Supply Chain Management Professional designation or a Supply Management Training diploma. Candidates should have at least eight years purchasing experience. An alternative combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
