Description

Brewsters Brewing Company & Restaurant, Normanview location is hiring a full time Manager/Bartender: with experience of 1-2 yrs. Must be 19yrs of age. Subject to a criminal record check. Must be able to lift heavy boxes, kegs, solve bar related problems. Be outgoing, able to think quickly, work on your own & in a team.
Greet guests at the bar; serve/expo drinks & food in the bar area, prepare drink orders for restaurant/pub sides help servers expo drinks & food when required. Help clear & set-up the bar area & tables, general cleaning, restocking, etc. Appropriate safe food handling procedures. Follow alcohol awareness procedures. Maintain an open, mature & respectful communication with all staff. Be able to carry trays of beverage, plates of food, stand, walk, reach, bend & clean during shift. Maintain a clean & tidy work station.
Manager ensures front of house operates smoothly & that maximum productivity, efficiency, effectiveness are achieved. You will work under the direction of the Regional Managers, the GM of the location & Ownership to ensure the philosophy of Brewsters is maintained & company policies procedures & standards are implemented and enforced.  You must set an example to other staff through a positive attitude, strong work ethic, friendliness to customers & staff alike. Managers assist in all facets of the operation.  Staffing/scheduling requirements. Must be out front on the floor or, working behind the bar approximately 90% of the time ensuring guests are informed of promotions, features & specials. Assist with the expediting of food & beverages. Assist with service & clean-up of tables. Deal with customer & staff questions/concerns in a prompt & appropriate fashion. Menus & Special Feature Promotions - assist in development, implementation & promotions.
