The primary function of this position is to: actively prospect for new customers while proactively servicing our corporate accounts. Convey a sense of expertise in all of our products and services in a professional manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide a professional service to all customers at all times.
-Identify new potential customers
-Maintain a monthly activity schedule to adequately service existing customers and work on new growth in regards to sales and profitability.
-Provide competitive offers to targeted customers while building, maintaining and growing existing and/or new business partnerships.
-Identify appropriate business opportunities within a predetermined territory (postal area).
-Analyze information on inactive and prospect customers through coordination and conducting specific activities within the territory to develop, penetrate and activate new accounts.
-Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with your Manager/Supervisor.
-Confirm and maintain current customer account information in our CRM program.
Knowledge and Abilities::
-Working knowledge of basic office equipment, computers, internet, e-mail and various software
applications.
-Effective consultative skills and enjoys collaborating when negotiating.
-Ability to identify and meet and exceed customers needs and requirements.
-Strong interpersonal skills (ability to effectively deal with others tact/diplomacy/courtesy).
-Work accuracy ability and detail oriented.
-Self-motivated and deadline driven, with effective time management abilities.
-Capacity to establish, maintain and promote high standards of professional etiquette and superior
customer service.
-Ability to fulfill all physical aspects of job-related tasks (product storage, etc.)
-Ability to efficiently work both independently, and as part of a cohesive team, in a high volume and demanding environment.
