Description

The Saskatoon Zoo Society is looking for a seasonal Entrance Manager for the 2018 season.

Take responsibility for the smooth running of the Zoo Front Gate (parking toll booth) and Zoo Admission Window, where your professionalism, initiative and office skills will be welcomed.  Your seasonal full-time role will require a full range of office management duties including:

Day-to-day running of these high traffic customer service areas
(Manager position is on-call for emergencies)
Provision of administrative paperwork to the Office Manager
Staff management
Schedule management
Timesheet management
Cash handling and reconciliation reporting
Other adhoc duties as requested.

This is an autonomous role and you need to be comfortable being independent and making decisions. This position will suit you if you have good interpersonal and presentation skills, and office management experience. You need to be self-directed and have organizational and problem-solving skills.  Meticulous cash handling skills and attention to detail required.
Applicants must have:

Ability to function under pressure
Extensive customer service skills
Experience with Microsoft Word and strong Excel skills (spreadsheets are part of daily job duties)
Knowledge of scheduling and timesheet management
Experience using POS systems
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
A positive disposition.
A criminal record check
