Our Thermoforming Division in Regina is presently recruiting to fill the following position:

Quality Assurance Technician

Reporting to the corporate Quality Assurance Manager, this position is responsible for all areas related to quality assurance and control within our plant including existing and new product testing for dimensions, top load, haze and clarity, food safety certifications etc.  This position will audit daily production, present results and recommendations and maintain detailed information systems. Additionally the QA Technician will be responsible for identifying defects and responding to customer inquiries.  The incumbent will possess an in-depth knowledge of GMP's, general QA/QC practices and Government regulations regarding food contact products.

This position requires excellent leadership and communications skills and will work with our corporate QA department to develop and implement policies and procedures; be comfortable in identifying, developing and introducing training requirements for new and existing staff.

The ideal candidate will possess post secondary education in either Quality Management, Food Science or Manaufacturing. A minimum of three years quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment is also required. Strong computer skills are essential. Knowledge of Graytech and Synergytek software would be a definite asset.
