Temporary part-time pharmacist is needed to cover a 1 year maternity leave position. Applicants must have a valid license to practice pharmacy in Canada and be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals. Successful candidate must be able to perform all functions and duties required of a licensed pharmacist. Injection training would be an asset. The pharmacy is open 9am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 4pm on Sundays. Closed all statutory holidays. Applicant must be able to work a variety of shits including but not limited to days, evenings, and weekends. Successful candidate will be someone with exceptional customer service skills. - Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
- Advise on the administration, uses and effects of the medication, drug incompatibilities and contra-indications
- Maintain medication profiles of customers
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products
- Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals
- Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products
- Check prescriptions for proper dosage
