Description

Responsibilities
-Manage and coordinate all LINC and learning centre activities
-Coordinate all aspects of federally funded programming and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada.
-Develop, implement and communicate best practices appropriate to the organization and the program
-Develop and communicate in writing formal office policies to staff
-Make policies easily accessible to all employees
-Ensure policies and practices are aligned with funder expectations and requirements
-Initiate staff meetings as needed
-Assist with orientation of new employees
-Maintain updated job requirement and descriptions
-Manage program funds
-Ensure smooth completion of work responsibilities
-Work in collaboration with Finance Manager to ensure funding guidelines are maintained

Qualifications
-5 + years of proven experience in team building and team management in a non-profit setting
-Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Analytical and good decision-making abilities
-Excellent organization and planning skills
-Good understanding of the organization's overall business and its objectives
- Experience with basic financial management skills including developing and monitoring budgets and financial reporting
-Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
-Ability to work within a team and provide support to the junior staff
-Multi-tasker with strong ability to work under pressure
-Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
-Proficient in computer applications; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other as required
-Valid drivers license
