Reporting to the Corporate Training and Safety Manager, this position supports Brandts construction, facilities maintenance, and manufacturing operations in implementing the company's occupational health and safety program. This includes conducting safety audits and inspections; investigating and resolving incidents; ensuring compliance with and advising on policies, practices, procedures and regulations; and analyzing and reporting performance against metrics. Although based in Regina SK, much of this work occurs in the field and in operating environments throughout Canada.
Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cooperatively at all levels of the organization are requirements of this position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience supporting occupational health and safety program implementation in industrial work environments. A degree or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related discipline and a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation are strong assets.
