Maintenance Operations Supervisor (OMS01)
Express Employment Professionals is a full service staffing & recruiting agency. We are seeking an Operations (Maintenance) Supervisor to join our clients team here in Regina. The successful candidate will be responsible for training, and supervising all site staff, and specifically other Service Technicians, assigned to the portfolio.
Preventative Maintenance Duties
Replace air filters, align drive belts, bearing lubrication and cleaning of heat exchangers, coils and dampers. Inspect and test unit for operation of all cooling and heating functions.
Clean cooling tower and sump. Adjust makeup water float, bearing lubrication, replace and align drive belts and inspection of related components.
Perform annual maintenance of hot water boilers including, cleaning of fire side, water side, heat exchangers and testing of safety devices.
Repairs and Maintenance Duties:
Daily testing and adjustment of water treatment levels to maintain and inhibit corrosion of cooling tower, closed loop heating and cooling systems.
Monitor and adjust operation heat pumps and building related systems. Includes routine preventive maintenance repairs and including filter replacements, belt adjustments, minor repairs
Daily review operating trends, revise set points and operating schedules through the HVAC control
Security Systems Co-ordinate repairs and maintenance, programming of cards and data management. Includes system auditing and reporting.
Participate or perform, in testing of fire and life safety systems per governing regulations and codes (including emergency generator testing, fire alarm testing, etc.).
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5-7 years related work experience.
Valid drivers license and own transportation
Supervision, organization and training of site staff including Service Technician(s).
Knowledge of building and fire codes.
Understanding and ability to read construction drawings.
