This position is responsible to the work area supervisor.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising and instructing individuals with different abilities with their daily basic needs and quality of life programming which consists of skill development, tasks and recreation as determined by his or her Person Centered Plan.
This position will respect and promote the individual choices, preferences and needs of individuals and the principles of community contribution, citizenship, volunteerism and equality as defined ion the "Charter of Rights and Freedoms"
This position will contribute to a happy, safe and healthy work environment for clients, staff and family members as well as Contribute to continually improving customer service.
Must have completed training in Psychiatric nursing, personal Development Worker, Recreational Therapist, other related training or a minimum of two years experience working with intellectually challenged people.
Must have a Valid Sask. Drivers Licence
Must provide a CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check
