Reporting to the Manager, Geosciences this position is responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities include:
Support department projects including planning, scheduling, budget and tracking of related timelines, actions and project milestones
Work as a team member in the preparation of documentation in support of engineering and scientific studies, environmental assessments, follow-up programs, and licensing of mining related projects
Assist AREVA personnel in the collection of field data, and manage subcontractors and students in the development of project outputs
Effectively communicate to internal and external audiences, including regulators, on issues related to geosciences and/or geotechnical issues
Preparation of technical reports for a variety of intended audiences ranging from internal circulation to regulatory review
Provide technical leadership to site operations staff in the areas of environmental, geochemical, and/or geotechnical monitoring, reporting, and resolution of technical issues
Supervise and/or manage contractors and consultants conducting engineering and scientific studies
