Description

Dasro is looking for a Solution Architect for a contract role with a corporate client in Regina.

Job duties:
    Enterprise design and/or development for transforming client requirements and process models into plans, process IT solutions which include hardware, software, network and data specifications.
    Technical planning, build vs. buy assessment, reviews, development of architecture, and modification of specifications for customized application solution components.
    Traditional (Host based) Development, Client/Server, Object Oriented Solutions, Imaging Solutions, or Rapid Solutions.  
    Work with project teams to develop the conceptual architecture design; ensuring it contains appropriate level of guidance (business, information, application and technical perspective).
    Development of the conceptual solution architecture document for a business system based on the functional & non-functional requirements.  
    Guide and monitor the compliance of the design and development of the business system to the conceptual solution architecture.  

Qualifications:
    
    Experience at with solutions architecture and/or IT design related experience.
    TOGAF certified at version 8, 8.1. or higher
    Senior Software Development experience
    Secure and reliable messaging implementation at a senior level
    Creating error handling architecture in SOA at a senior level
-    Lead architect, or in charge of a major subsystems; engagements were performed using a formal IT methodology.
    Software integration architecture, API Management, Message queue technology and API integration on premise and on line.
    Multiple architecture methodologies and an ability to compare them.
    Training in IT design methodology and experience implementing that methodology on an IT design engagement.
    Expert knowledge of at least one major architecture methodology.
