Primary Purpose and Accountabilities: The Strategic Business Advisor (SBA), Facilities serves as a strategic facilities professional within colleges/units at the University of Saskatchewan. The purpose of the position is to provide proactive and consultative service within the college on a range of facility initiatives and issues. The SBA will influence and implement effective integrated facilities strategies and initiatives that support unique academic and research objectives and operational requirements of the unit. During periods of change, high work volumes and stringent deadlines, the SBA is able to address complex and time sensitive facility matters with technical proficiency and exceptional client service.
Reporting to the Director, Services Relationship Management, and under the direction of a senior leader in the unit (Dean, Executive Director, or designate), the SBA Facilities is accountable for ensuring the effective management and execution of facility strategies, frameworks, policies and procedures within the colleges/units. In providing various facility client services, the SBA exercises discretion and applies best practices with a consistent, proactive and collaborative approach.
