Working under the supervision of the Director of Properties, the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the maintenance and mechanical operation of all the YWCA properties as well as the janitorial and security duties as required. This is a full-time position that is primarily days but may include evenings, weekends, nights or on call from time to time.
Responsibilities:
Participation in the development and implementation of the yearly maintenance work plan for all of the YWCA properties;
Maintaining all the YWCA buildings and properties, both inside and outside, in good condition structurally, mechanically, electrically and esthetically;
Keep the Director of Properties informed of any and all problems that arise with the properties;
Performing general maintenance, security and janitorial duties in close cooperation with other maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or General Educational Development
Fireman Certificate
Air Conditioning Operator Certificate
First Aid/CPR Certification
Must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License
