Description

We are recruiting a full time Coordinator at our Regina, Burnco Landscape Centre, reporting to the Centre Supervisor. You will be responsible for assisting with hiring, training and scheduling staff. Assist the supervisor on ordering stock and working on projects. Additionally, you will be required to work with customers.

This is a full time hourly position that will require occasional overtime during the busy season.

Responsibilities:
Complete administrative duties including creating purchase orders and processing receivables, scheduling deliveries, processing timesheets, and filing
Keeping shelves well stocked and having clear signage.
Assist new hires with product knowledge, calculations, and operating our point of sale system.
Customer dispute resolution and problem solving.
Maintain show room and displays.
Delegate duties to personnel as required to routine checklists, general upkeep, and start/end of day procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness of the building and yard.

Qualifications & Skills:
As the ideal candidate you are a motivated individual and able to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
Preference is given to candidates having related training or post-secondary education.
One to three years of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
Basic computer skills are a must and landscaping knowledge is considered an asset.  
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, prior experience in admin, and being people oriented are beneficial.
Willingness to learn and a desire to gain product knowledge are essential.
Preference will be given to candidates with proven planning and organizational skills; ability to identify, analyze and solve problems and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical demands may include extended periods of standing or walking; lifting or moving objects occasionally required.
