Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the manager, SHREQ and Regulatory Affairs, you will help move Cameco towards our vision of excellence. You will work with corporate and site management to apply and coordinate the activities associated with the elements of operational excellence, particularly related to continual improvement through use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You will support the coordination of resources, documentation of process information and implementation of standard processes through strong team work and formal change management. You will be guided by the corporate operational excellence programs and strategies while performing your work.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in either a business or technical discipline
Five to eight years of relevant work experience
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Lean Greenbelt, PROSCI or other change management certification
Proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Visio, Project
Assets:
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Experience in development of process documentation including process mapping, step definitions, RACI
