Are you passionate about seniors? If you answered yes, Eden Care Communities is looking for you! We are looking for a full-time Recreation Specialist to join our team.
The recreation specialist will be responsible for planning, implementing and promoting activities to enhance the quality of life for all clients. Facilitate community involvement through volunteerism.
Duties may include:
Complete activities-related evaluations on new clients e.g., Activities, Questionnaires, and Social/Spiritual Data.
Plan and implement activities of a sufficient variety, and sufficient frequency with activity categories to include programs such as physical, creative expression & recreational, cultural, social and spiritual.
Inform and Invite residents to daily activities, ensure activities are offered as scheduled or if canceled appropriate alternatives are offered.
Maintain records of participation in activities. Participate in planning reviews to ensure residents needs are being met and address shortfalls to management.
