We are currently seeking a versatile individual to join our team as Summer Yard Pride Coordinator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Check yards of rental properties and encourage tenants to properly maintain their yards.
*Occasionally perform basic, minor pruning of trees and shrubs.
*Check for problems such as dead trees and broken sidewalk blocks.
*Check yards for lease violations.
*Assists with watering and mowing grass of vacant units as time permits.
*Assist with office work as time permits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

*Good communications skills.
*Good judgement.
*Some knowledge and interest in trees, plants, flowers, shrubs, weeds and pruning.
*Horticulture student or experience in looking after a yard would be an asset.
*Have a roadworthy vehicle and valid driver's licence and additional vehicle liability insurance for a minimum of $1,000,000.
*Willingness/ability to perform the duties described above.
*Willingness/ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment when required in accordance with OH&S Act and Regulations.
*Current criminal background check and Driver's Abstract.

The compensation for this position is $17/hour plus reimbursement of $0.4255 per kilometer.
