Description

Under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, the Digital Media Administrative Assistant will ensure the Saskatoon Open Door Society continues a strong and consistent presence online and on other selected social media platforms. Through the use of photographic and video material, the Digital Media Administrative Assistant will deliver visually compelling and original content to be published on the organizations website and social media channels.
**Candidates under consideration will be required to participate in an assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, language abilities, and computer testing.

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities
-Superior knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
-Working knowledge and experience using MS Office.
-Demonstrated ability to create content for a range of social media platforms, specifically: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube, with the aims of brand communication, digital community development, customer service, and audience development.
-Familiarity with content management systems and HTML coding.
-Knowledgeable, understanding, and interested in digital communications and best practices.

**Education and Experience
-A relevant diploma with an emphasis in graphic communications, graphic communications, graphic design, digital media, new technologies, and media art production.
**Required Licenses and/or Certificates
-Canadian Police Information Center (CPIC) certification - A Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check in good standing order is required. The CPIC certification must be completed within the last three months.
