Description

Founded in 1979, the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation helps advance health research in the province by working with its partners in universities, government agencies and communities. SHRF leads strategic investments is high impact, peer-reviewed research aligned with provincial needs, and builds and broadens the health research and innovation capacity in Saskatchewan.  

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Performance Measurement and Research plays a key role in monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the progress and impact of SHRFs work in advancing health research and innovation in Saskatchewan. In consultation with the executive team, the Director plays a role in effective funding partnerships on SHRF programs and partner-led funding opportunities. The Director is part of the executive leadership team and contributes to SHRFs strategic decision-making to achieve its mandate. The incumbent represents SHRF on various national special initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

A graduate degree in a relevant field.
A minimum of 5 years pertinent experience in a managerial role.
Experience with evaluation and measurement tools and models.
Prior knowledge and experience with research
Strong relationship and partnership building skills.
Good understanding of the provincial and national research funding ecosystem.
Science or research background is preferred.
