Description

The CRC, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently recruiting for Summer Students to participate in our 2018 Summer Student Program.  The Summer Student Program provides students with practical work experience, offering a unique opportunity to learn about refinery operations from the ground up.  A variety of summer student positions are available, including positions within Maintenance, Stores, Laboratory, Supply & Distribution, Engineering, and Administration.

Students must be currently enrolled in full-time classes at an accredited post-secondary institute and enrolled on a full-time basis (registered in three or more classes) for the fall September  December 2018 semester to be eligible to participate in the program.  Please note students enrolled in Masters programs are not eligible to participate.

Successful candidates will be mechanically inclined with preference given to those candidates with previous experience in an industrial work environment with a valid Construction Safety Training System (CSTS), Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) or Petroleum Safety Training (PST) certificate. Due to the nature of the work, a positive safety attitude is required.

As these positions are safety sensitive, all applicants will be required to successfully complete a drug and alcohol test and will require a valid criminal record check. The completion of CRCs orientation and training programs will also be required prior to the first day on site.
