Park Town Hotel has a 10000 sq ft meeting space split in 9 rooms. 173 room, 7-story, full-service hotel located in downtown Saskatoon along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. The hotel has a total of 3 Food and Beverage outlets

Job Description for: Maintenance Manager                        
Reports to: General Manager

Preferential Profile:
Facility Management Professional Technical Program Certification or Trades License (completed or in progress)
Property Administration Certificate (PAC) (completed or in progress)
Minimum of 3 years experience working in Maintenance or Environmental Services
Building systems knowledge required

Duties and Responsibilities
General supervision and support for the service maintenance teams at assigned properties
Assist in recruiting and training staff
Communicates directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas
Initiating, performing & overseeing maintenance projects
Request funding within budgeted limits for purchases of supplies and equipment, equipment repair and maintenance, and alterations to premises
Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, negotiating pricing, collaborating on approved vendor list, keeping vendor list updated and publishing the list for the properties
    Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
    Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary
    Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department
    Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians
Will be on call 24/7 for any emergency maintenance.
