Kinistin Education Centre invites applications for an Early Year school teacher!
Teaching position to commence, for the 2018 - 2019 academic year.  

We are seeking an energetic team player who is student focused and committed to the teaching profession.  

Kinistin Education Centre is a Nursery to Grade 8 School with a student population of approximately 110 students, a teaching staff of 7, and also includes other support staff.  The school is also lead by an amazing principal that is looking for teachers that will work together to create an holistic and safe environment for the children of Kinistin.

The Kinistin Saulteaux Nation is a community of approximately 500 people located approximately 40 km southwest of Tisdale in Northeast Saskatchewan.

Qualifications:

    Must have a current Saskatchewan Professional `A' Certificate.
    Committed to academic success for all learners and understand the adaptive dimensions for differentiated instruction and assessment to meet diverse needs of students.  
    Collaborate with classroom teachers, educational assistants, parents, specialists, and other learning team members to help create a positive learning environment.
    Value adaptive leadership, strong instructional leadership skills, and strong organizational skills.  
    Commitment and accountability to the teaching profession.
    Preference may be shown to individuals who have past experience working within well in team oriented environment.  The successful applicant will also have First Nations awareness and a willingness to work with parents and community.
