Description

Provides property management, maintenance and caretaking duties for six town-owned recreation facilities (Oxbow Arena, Oxbow Swimming Pool, Oxbow Memorial Hall & Tennis Courts, Bow Valley Park, Ralph Allen Memorial Museum, Oxbow Branch of SE Regional Library);
    Assists with the development of the annual facilities capital, maintenance and equipment budgets by identifying needs, obtaining cost estimates and recommending to the facility committees;
    Develops, schedules, completes and reports on ongoing premises and equipment upkeep, and routine and preventative maintenance programs;
    Performs ongoing facility management and maintenance, or contracts out as necessary;
    Develop procedure manuals; regular inspections to ensure facilities and equipment comply with procedures and legislative standards (i.e. OH&S, Building Codes, Public Health, Food Safe Handling, Incident Reporting, Labour Standards).
    Coordination of volunteers for large projects
