Description

The Director of Student Success and Elders Services provides strategic direction, leadership and excellence in the development and management of processes and procedures to support student success. Specifically, the Director provides leadership and implementation of strategic direction for the following: Academic Advising Services, Recruitment and Retention Services, Student Success Support Services, the Elders Office Services and Scholarship and Awards Services.  Located in Prince Albert, this position will also be responsible for operational oversight of Northern Campus (Campus Manger).

The Role:

Student Success - operationally, the incumbent is responsible for the creation of a strong staff team, the design of comprehensive annual plans, prudent budget management, and ensuring high quality program and service delivery. This includes an emphasis on supporting the development and success of staff, strong project management, and continuous improvement through program assessment and evaluation.

Elders Services - Coordinate the Elders Council, including, consistency in protocol, ceremonies and practices at University campuses; along with participate and guide the development and implementation of cultural strategy and procedures.

Campus Manager - the incumbent will ensure Northern Campus is aligned with the Universitys Mission Statement and with the strategic planning fostered by Senior Management.

Interviews for this position will commence March 30, 2018 until a suitable candidate is found.  Start date for the position is June 1, 2018.
