Phillips & Co. is a law office in Regina that provides services in many areas of the law.
We are seeking a legal assistant to join our team, particularly those who may be trained in the areas of Estates, Litigation and/or Family Law but other experience will be considered.
The successful applicant should have previous experience in a law office or similar atmosphere, be highly motivated, well organized, as well as able to work well with others and also be able to work independently.
Some training will be provided, however preference will be provided to those individuals who have some experience in a legal environment such as a private law firm.

The salary for this position will vary according to training and experience.
Some training or experience includes:
-being Commissioner for Oaths and/or Notary Public
-ability to draft pleadings such as court applications and affidavits, wills, and other legal documents
-previous training includes direct experience in a law office and/or successful completion of legal secretarial course
-previous experience at a law firm, work with in house counsel or clerk position
