Job Description: The Diabetes Nutrition Educator reports to the Manager of Primary Health Care. The Diabetes Nutrition Educator is accountable for the development, delivery/provision and on-going evaluation on the nutrition education component of the community based Diabetes Education Program. The Diabetes Nutrition Educator uses client/family centered approaches to facilitate and support clients in their ability to self manage their health condition.  
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Accredited Dietetic Internship
Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board (CDECB) certification
Registered or eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Valid drivers license and the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially.
Experience
At least one year directly related work experience is preferred.
