Description

The Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc., better known as MACSI, is a non-profit community based provincial organization that has a long history of serving the people of Saskatchewan for over 45 years. MACSI operates three facilities throughout the province of Saskatchewan with locations in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Regina.
1.    Greet visitors and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
2.    Use computers for various applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
3.    Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
4.    Manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents.
5.    Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
6.    Maintain calendars with programming resources within the centre.
7.    Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.
8.    Make copies of programming and other printed material when required to do so.
9.    Handling incoming deliveries/mail, ensuring that all items are received and distributed to the correct staff members.
10.    Support staff members in a positive team based manner and assist in creating a warm, home-like climate for clients.
11.    Ensuring the confidentiality of information related to clients and centre operations.
12.    Maintaining an inventory of office supplies and ordering required supplies when necessary to do so.
13.    Ensure the reception/office area is kept tidy and clean during daily office activities
14.    Preparing outgoing mail and correspondence for shipment
15.    Creating and compiling Intake files for easy and efficient use by the Addiction Counsellors
16.    Recording and distributing minutes for staff meetings within the treatment centre
