Description

The South East Cornerstone Public School Division requires the service of a Community Education Liaison at Stoughton Central School. Reporting directly to the School Principal and indirectly to the Superintendent of Education this position will be responsible for leading the process to strengthen relationships between the school and families, strengthen family focus on guiding and directing their children, increasing community  involvement in supporting children and youth to encourage growth in ways that will support student well-being and ultimately enhance levels of student academic achievement through these actions. Specific involvement will be in the development, support and implementation of Local Advisory Councils and connections with First Nations communities as well as developing processes and practices to support and encourage regular student attendance.
