Description

Arbour Crest provides Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape services for Saskatoon and area. We focus on quality, safety and employee growth. We are looking for a sharp and determined individual to excel in Plant Healthcare and to be a valued member of our growing team.

Position Responsibilities
    On-site identification, diagnosis of biotic and abiotic tree stresses and treatment recommendations
    Tree and shrub fertilization using deep-root fertilizer equipment
    Informing clients regarding treatments and other service details
    Good communication and report writing skills
    Mixing and applying pesticides (of varying toxicity) including but not limited to sprays and systemic injections
    Ensure a safe and fun work place for yourself and others
    Driving to and from site with a company truck containing controlled products

Qualifications
    Some experience in arboriculture or horticulture, focusing in treatment and diagnosis
    Diploma, Certification or Qualification in Forestry, Urban Forestry, Arboriculture, Horticulture or related discipline or ISA Certified preferred
    Ability to pursue certified landscape pesticide applicator in Saskatchewan
    IPM developmental skills preferred
    Valid class 5 drivers license and vehicle
    Hard working, reliable, accountable, and trustworthy


This positions wage is based on suitability and skill level. Advancement will be based on the ability to learn quickly and excel in a fast paced environment.  Standard training will be done upon hiring to ensure you are familiar and comfortable with equipment and products as well as company orientation and WHMIS.  Company benefits plan, sales and equipment bonuses available. We offer the chance to do tree work including pruning and removals when not doing PHC related tasks. In the winter our work shifts to snow removal, equipment maintenance, and training.
