The Kinsmen Foundation, serving the community greatest need, grants funding to individuals, families, group homes and organizations as a funder of last resort throughout the province of Saskatchewan. Kinsmen Foundation assists with access to special needs equipment and travel costs associated to medical travel that would otherwise be unattainable.  Additional information on the Kinsmen Foundation can be found on: http://www.telemiracle.com

Reporting to the Kinsmen Foundation Inc. Management Committee, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of the Kinsmen Foundation Inc. internal operations which includes all aspects of, office management, people leadership, fund development and board governance. Representing the Foundation to the provincial community this person will have a passion for helping others and compassion for their clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Saskatchewan, be a confident and collaborative leader that enjoys working in a small office environment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience working in a leadership role. Working with a not-for-profit organization with a clear understanding of philanthropy is preferred. Preference will be given to an individual with a Graduate degree and with hands-on experience working in a not-for-profit or similar small office environment.
Positive leader of people, able to empower, mentor and support their team.
Experience leading fund development strategies or similar. Experience with public relations, networking, and campaigns.
Strong business acumen with proven experience of carrying through a successful strategic plan.
Firm understanding of municipal, provincial, federal government policy and their processes. Government relations is ideal.
Strong financial literacy with experience in fund accounting and budgeting.
Proficient with windows-based software programs.
