Description

Horizon is currently recruiting for Senior Business Analysts. These resources should have extensive experience in business analysis and testing, with data analysis experience and change management skills an asset. The resources will participate in various projects focused on delivering appropriate and innovative solutions to stakeholders. These resources will also assist with setting up standard processes and procedures and ensuring that project best practices are followed. The resources will also be expected to provide coaching and mentorship to existing employees.

Duties of the Resource may include, but are not necessarily limited to:

Manage, control, execute and close all assigned projects
Mentor and coach resources
Develop repeatable, best practice standards and processes
Work with stakeholders and service providers to ensure that business requirements are correctly identified and documented, validating system integration and interface requirements
Assist with business change management processes
Facilitate business workshops
Document user manuals, processes and procedures
Coordinate and oversee testing processes and results, ensuring that testing methods conform to best practices
Assist with projects related to virtual data exchange
Create, document and execute project test plans
Ensure quality assurance practices are being followed, leveraging expertise from development and business teams
Ensure delivery of quality solutions and fulfil business needs and support day-to-day operations
Coordinate and periodically assume responsibility for work over others
Write business cases
