Applications are now being accepted for an Office Assistant to work part-time, under the direction of the Administrator, in the rural municipal office located in Rush Lake, Saskatchewan.  Start date to be mutually agreed upon.  Employment will be a minimum of one day a week and will be scheduled on a flexible basis.  The suitable candidate will also be required to work additional days based on workload demands and will be required to cover vacation leave, attendance at workshops, etc.  This will result in several weeks throughout a year having more than one day of work.  The Municipality offers a comprehensive benefit package including a pension plan.  The successful applicant will work closely with existing office staff, other employees and Council members.

The successful candidate will be competent in the use of computers, including Excel and Word programs.  Good organizational and public relations skills along with some accounting knowledge or experience are a requirement.  Flexibility on days of work is a must.
